Musicians have been weighing into the debate over net neutrality – whether ISPs should be able to throttle P2P traffic (or, indeed, any particular traffic) – for some time now. However, the next step is, naturally, a benefit album. It’s called Rock The Net, it comes out on 29 July, and it features the likes of Wilco, Bright Eyes, Aimee Mann and, ahem, They Might Be Giants. It’ll come out as a CD – although for true solidarity, shouldn’t we all be firing up BitTorrent clients to download it – and you can stream some of the songs via the link below.Link:
