We wrote earlier this year about the Bowers & Wilkins’ Music Club – a new music subscription service launched by speaker maker B&W that lets fans sign up for six or 12 albums over the course of a year. Well, it’s made a fairly high-profile signing – Brett Anderson, former lead singer of Suede. His new solo album `Wilderness’ has been released through the Music Club as a high-quality`lossless’ download, in advance of its physical release later this year. It makes sense for Anderson to work outside traditional label structures, as he explains: “I made this album with the purest of intentions: to create a beautiful suite of songs untethered by second-guessing markets and playlists and music biz bullshit.”
