Clearwire completed a merger with a department of Sprint Nextel. Retaining the Clearwire name, the new company expects to build the first nationwide 4G mobile broadband network. Sprint Nextel will own 51% of the new company, Clearwire 22%, and the remainder will be owned by investors, including Comcast, Intel, Time Warner and Google.
