Recorded music revenue for the first quarter of their fiscal year fell 11.9% year-on-year to $749m for the three months to December 31. In the same period publishing revenue also fell 6.9% to $134m.

However, digital revenue for recorded music grew 18.2% year-on-year to $156m and digital revenue from publishing was up 50.0% to $15m. Accounting for 11.2% of total music publishing revenue.
