It’s probably fair to describe US mobile content retailer Thumbplay as “troubled” now, given the number of executives who’ve left the company in recent times. SVP of content acquisition and strategy Mitch Rotter recently left to join UMG, and now chief product officer Joe Bilman and CTO Markus Thorsvelt are leaving. MocoNews says no replacements are expected to be hired for either of the latter two positions – not a great sign.
