Following reports that its 5800 XpressMusic handset has been taken off-sale in the US after 3G connection problems, Nokia has responded by playing down the problems, saying it’s a “very isolated problem concerning only the North American market” – specifically that “only NY and Chicago affected, in Dallas and Miami the devices are working OK”. The company says it’s investigating the problems to find a remedy.
