The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (Jasrac) has launched a new body called the Copyrights Information Collection and Processing Organization (er, CICPO?) to draw up rights guidelines for online music streaming. It’ll launch later this month, with plans to begin offering its services in April next year. It’s been funded by the Network Music Rights Conference.
