US reality show American Idol has launched a $1.99 iPhone app offering bios, photos, news and behind-the-scenes videos of its final 13 contestants from the current series, while also letting users predict the order of who gets voted off the show. The app has been created by mobile firm Zumobi, and includes up to 78 exclusive videos. One thing it doesn’t do is allow fans to text-vote from within the app.
