The next high-profile file-sharing case in the US is that of Boston University graduate Joel Tenenbaum, who’s being defended by Harvard Law prof Charles Nesson. However, Nesson has been given a stinging rebuke from the judge in the case over his conduct so far. “The court will not hesitate to impose appropriate sanctions, including potentially substantial costs, should the Defendant waste either the Plaintiffs’ time and money or scarce judicial resources by filing frivolous motions in the future.” Just so you know it’s not always the RIAA under the cosh in such cases.
