MySpace Music has been showing off some of its new features, which include a faster music player on the site, a better search function, unlimited playlists for users, and individual album pages. However, more interesting is news that MySpace is planning to launch “a new hub focused on music videos” according to TechCrunch. Apparently MySpace secured the rights to music videos from every major label when signing the deals for MySpace Music. What about the UK, though, given YouTube’s current row with PRS for Music over rights? Aha, MySpace Music boss Courtney Holt tells CNET it shouldn’t be a problem. “I met with PRS when I was in Europe and we’re hoping to form a deal with them,” he says. “We’d like to get a deal done and be in-market when it makes sense.”
