Play Anywhere, a new service from Catch Media, has inked a deal with independant globally representative Merlin. The service is expected to launch in the US within three months and in the UK before the end of 2009. The main attraction of the service is that it gives music lovers access to their personal music collections via any of their registered devices, including PC and mobile. Merlin joins Universal and Warner who already have deals with Play Anywhere, allowing access to repertoire from labels including Domino, Beggars Group, Epitaph and PIAS.
