Californian firm Y Combinator, a specialist in providing seed funding to early-stage web startups, announced that it has raised $2 million in new funding for itself. The funding will be used to fund more startups this year with plans to invest in 60 every year. Individual investments are usually around the $20,000 mark, and in return it gets between 2% and 10% of the business.
