The barrage of criticism of Facebook’s recent redesign appears to have hit home – the social network’s director of product, Christopher Cox, has responded on the company’s official blog. He’s promised a series of tweaks to the redesign, including giving users more control over their stream – including the ability to reduce notifications from applications – see more highlights, find things more easily, and tweaking the balance between older content and new stuff. Whether this is enough to placate the angry refuseniks is another question. For what it’s worth, we like the revamp. Although if the new changes rid our news stream of all those quiz notifications, it’ll be a bonus.
