This might sound like a minor story, but bear with us. Nokia has announced a software update for its flagship 5800 XpressMusic handset, making it run a bit faster with an improved user interface. However, it also has an Application Update feature that identifies and downloads updates to the apps a user has stored on the device. It’s not a great leap to assume this will be part of the soon-to-launch Ovi Store, providing iPhone-style updates to users with the minimum of fuss.
