MTV Games has teamed up with Paramount Pictures to promote the latter’s new Star Trek movie in the former’s Rock Band and Rock Band 2 console games. The promotion includes free downloads from the Rock Band music store for people who sign up to the film’s website, an online battle of the bands contest with a private screening of the movie for the winners, and a create-your-own-avatar competition.
