Here’s a cool thing: RockDex aims to tell artists whether their web buzz is growing or declining. How? By pulling data from social networks, blogs, micro-blogs and music sites, and turning it into a score. So Blur get 83 out of 100, Alicia Keys gets a whopping 96.1, and The Sundays get 64.4 (comeback!). The idea is that artists sign up to get alerts on how their score is changing, while the site also provides tips on where they’re doing well and not so well, and how to improve. It’s the work of Music Arsenal.
