Streaming music service Spotify has announced that Paul Brown is its new UK managing director. He was previously international managing director for Pandora, before that service decided licensing hassles weren’t worth being international for, and before that he worked at Sony Music UK. He’s also well connected with the current crop of music industry startups, acting as a non executive director for fan-funding firm Slicethepie, and remaining a consultant for Topspin Media.
