With The Pirate Bay claiming their site is no different to Google (although the judge in their trial disagreed), some mischievous web type has cooked up a Google-based torrent search engine. It’s very simple, effectively providing a box to search for torrents on Google, rather than users having to type in filetype:torrent on the end of their search query on the main Google site. Mashable suggests Google might be sued for this loophole if it wasn’t so big. We’ll go with the Pirate Bay judge’s point, which was that Google’s principal use isn’t for finding copyrighted content to illegally download.
