US firm Zooz Mobile has announced that its iPhone music apps have been downloaded more than a million times since being made available on the App Store last November. Billed as “the first mobile music studio”, the company’s flagship product ZOOZbeat now has an online community wrapped around it, letting people share the music they create in the iPhone app via Facebook and Twitter. Meanwhile, the company has also announced the launch of ZOOZbeat Latin, offering a samba and tejano spin on its formula, which involves choosing background beats then shaking or tilting the iPhone to create melodies.
