Microsoft announced a year-on-year drop for the first time in the company’s history. In Q1, Microsoft generated $13.65 billion in revenues, down 6% from Q1 last year. Meanwhile, its net income was $2.98 billion, down 32% year-on-year. Sales in the company’s Entertainment and devices division were down 2% to $1.57 billion, and it recorded a $31 million loss compared to a $106 million operating profit in Q1 last year.
