Taiwanese researchers have developed a prototype set of stereo speakers made from paper, which could end up spawning commercial products for use in home audio systems, cars or as “talking movie posters”. Apparently they also have a three-storey-high banner that can pump out music. The technology is called Flexpeaker, because the speakers can be rolled up just like regular paper. The researchers are also working on a Bluetooth version.
