Swiss firm OZWE has unveiled QB1, a robotic DJ music machine… thing. It’s aware of its surroundings, can recognise faces and pictures, and can interpret its owner’s gestures to manipulate their music. “Raise your hand and make your fingers into a shelf, then lower it – the volume decreases,” explains CrunchGear. “Spin your finger around clockwise to fast forward, counter-clockwise to rewind. Speak the name of a song, or the track number, or hold up an album cover to play it.” Yeah, but isn’t a remote control still easier? Sorry to sound like a luddite.
