The recently introduced IPRED law requires ISPs to turn over user data if ordered to by a court, but now a second ISP has announced that it will delete all IP records of its customers to avoid having to do so. Tele2 has taken the step, which is legal, following fellow ISP Bahnhof’s decision to do so earlier this month. “In certain cases, this will make an investigation impossible,” says Swedish police internet crime unit head Stefan Kronkvist.
