iTunes tracks retailing at $1.29 and $0.99 have experienced a decline in revenue, down 34.5% and 29% respectively. However, due to the $1.29 songs having a higher margin, the price increase has raised more income than if the price had remained at 99 cents. Billboard reckons the extra income is in the region of $14,000 a week net.
