7Digital is set to release its mp3 store to Blackberry either later this month or early next month. The store will allow Blackberry users to browse and download 7Digital’s full range of DRM-free tracks; and music downloads purchased through the Blackberry will automatically have their quality upgraded when the user returns home – or moves into a wi-fi area – using Wi-Fi Auto Sync. It’s a cute extra feature, but the usual issues surrounding data charges when downloading music will apply (ie how much the music actually costs depends on the mobile tariff the user has).
