US TV network ABC has announced a partnership with Amazon.com which will help drive sales of music featured on ABC programmes such as Ugly Betty or Grey’s Anatomy. ABC has launched a new section on its website called The Music Lounge which will profile tracks and artists featured on these – and other – shows. There are links to buy each track on the website via Amazon’s MP3 store. It’s a nice partnership, and one which we hope will be replicated across other broadcaster websites, given the importance of sync to an artist’s career.
