Music search engine Seeqpod, which shut down and filed for bankruptcy last month has confirmed that Seeqpod is in talks with Microsoft about selling parts of the search engine technology. Although Seeqpod was famous as a service for its unlicensed “playable search” streaming, the technology behind it was originally designed for the science world and hunts down information based on association rather than keyword.
