Up until now, online TV service Hulu has been focused on, well, online TV. As in shows from broadcasters. However, as we’ve reported before, it’s keen to branch out into music video and give YouTube a run for its money. More evidence comes in a new deal for Hulu to live-stream a Dave Matthews concert next month from New York. After the gig, the footage will be available to watch on-demand on Hulu for a limited time. With YouTube also having made its initial move into live-streaming events relatively recently, we expect to see more streaming gigs as the two sites compete.
