iPhone game Tap Tap Revenge 2 is free, but it’s spawning an increasing number of premium versions for artists including Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails and the Dave Matthews Band. Now developer Tapulous has updated the core TTR2 game to allow players to import the tracks from premium versions of the game that they’ve bought, allowing them to play them in a single game. In other news, last week a song by All American Rejects was featured as a download for the game, with 500,000 players taking advantage. It shows the promotional power of the game, even if there’s no option yet for users to pay for such downloads.
