Microsoft has announced that it’s now sold more than 30 million Xbox 360 consoles, and that it has more than 20 million active members of its Xbox Live online service. Which is interesting in the light of this week’s announcement that Microsoft will soon be integrating its Zune platform into Xbox Live, initially to sell videos. Microsoft also says that Xbox 360 has so far generated $5.9 billion in revenues for third-party games publishers.
