In its latest experiment to boost its advertising revenues, MySpace is working with a company called SocialMedia.com to test interactive ads on its social network. The so-called MySpace Interaction Ads revolve around friends: You might be asked if you prefer rock or rap, and then your friends will see an ad saying “X likes rock and roll! Which do you like?”. SocialMedia says such ads are much more engaging than traditional banners.
