A report in Business Week says both Apple and Google are planning to introduce user-to-user sharing features for mobile applications on iPhone and Android. On iPhone, this may even involve people getting a commission if they persuade a friend to make a purchase by recommending an app to them. So-called superdistribution has long been talked of in mobile, but seldom actually done. If both Apple and Google throw their weight behind the idea, it could increase the buzz around mobile apps yet higher.
