One of the benefits of the new iPhone 3.0 software is its ability to control hardware accessories with applications. One of the first examples will be Belkin’s new TuneCast Auto Live FM Transmitter, which pulls GPS data from the iPhone and works out the clearest FM frequency to use for radio stations, based on geographical data and recommendations from other users. It will go on sale in the Autumn.
