The latest cool app to be spawned by tech firm The Echo Nest is called SynchStep. It’s an iPhone app that currently only works on jailbroken handsets, which measures your walking or running pace and chooses a song with a tempo to match. The upcoming iPhone 3.0 software update will give applications access to the iPhone’s music library – which we’re hoping will be the spur for an official release for this.
