We’ve been covering the new breed of search engines recently like Wolfram Alpha and Bing. Hunch isn’t quite a search engine – it’s more of a decision engine. You answer a bunch of questions about yourself, and then ask it to help you make decisions – for example about what products and services to buy. Music is included – we clicked on the ”Which electronic music group would I like?” question, and it came up with Dutch duo Arling & Cameron, who are apparently inspired by “Shibuya-kei kitsch-pop deconstructionists”. Nice. Anyway, it’s an intriguing site, launched by Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake.
