Blogger Perez Hilton has put the wind up a fair few celebrities, and attracted lawsuits in the process. But now he’s threatening to sue Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am after what he claims was an assault over the weekend by the star and his security guards. It’s all playing out very publicly too, with Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira) tweeting that he’d been assaulted minutes after it happened, provoking a video response from Will.I.Am on his own Dipdive site, and a further video response from Hilton. “Perez will take legal action against anyone who chooses to resort to physical violence as a means to respond to criticism they do not like,” says the blogger’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, who says criminal assault charges have been filed against Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molino.
