Video firm Kyte has had great success in signing labels up for its platform, which lets artists shoot video with their mobile phones and upload it to channels, which fans can then access via web, WAP or mobile apps.The company has just released its Mobile Producer app for iPhone, which takes advantage of the video recording abilities of the new iPhone 3GS. Users can record ”shows” using the app and upload them directly to their Kyte accounts.TechCrunch reports that the quality is “noticeably better” than videos uploaded to YouTube from the device. Whether this leads to hundreds of artists demanding new iPhone 3GS handsets from their labels or management remains to be seen…
