
Apple has confirmed to pretty much every big US media outlet that CEO Steve Jobs has returned to work on schedule following his liver transplant. “Steve is back to work,” a spokesperson tells the New York Times. “He is currently at Apple a few days a week and working from home the remaining days.” There remains a debate around whether Apple should have told investors more about Jobs” health in recent months. “We don’t know much,” says corporate governance expert Charles Elson. “We know he is back at work and that he had a transplant. Given how important he seems to be to the value of this business, we ought to have the facts in front of us that the board had in bringing him back.”
