
Music analytics firm Band Metrics has expanded its private beta, inviting “several thousand” artists, labels and music marketeers to test its new system for reporting and analysing how music is being consumed and talked about online. Hypebot reports that several new features have been introduced too, including tracking plays, fans, profile views and comments across MySpace, Last.fm, iLike, YouTube and SoundCloud; viewing real-time comments on Twitter and reviews on Musebin; and scores for artists in attributes such as hotness, fandom and brand strength.
