Jack White has a carefully-cultivated image as a luddite when it comes to new technology, but his record label Third Man Records has just launched a new digital subscription service. Fans can pay $7 a month for exclusive streaming content, chat rooms, pay-per-view concert webcasts, and early access when tickets go on sale. Meanwhile, $20 a month gets you additional quarterly releases of exclusive music and merchandise. The label’s roster includes the White Stripes, Raconteurs and The Dead Weather (White’s three bands) as well as other acts.
