Brilliant Digital Entertainment, the owner of the Kazaa file-sharing service, has announced plans to release a new video service that will allow users to upload and share standard and high-definition videos with the Kazaa community. The free service will include the ability to transfer HD video content to mobile phones, including the Palm Pre. After being sued by the record labels over its free peer-to-peer service, Kazaa launched a $19.98 per month unlimited music download service.
