The US interactive advertising market, including online, mobile and email – will reach $55 billion by 2014, by which point marketers will be spending 21% of their budgets on interactive ads. The company breaks down its prediction too, suggesting that by 2014, search advertising will be worth $31.5 billion and display ads will account for $16.9 billion. However, it also predicts strong growth for social media marketing – $3.1 billion by 2014 – and mobile – $1.2 billion.
