The latest mash-up of a legal music service with torrent technology is called PWN Last.fm. As the name indicates, it provides torrent links for the music people listen to on Last.fm, using a script that works with the Firefox and Opera web browsers. The code means that when viewing artist pages on the site, people will now also see 15 popular torrents, complete with Play icons to stream them. The news follows the development of a similar plug-in for Amazon’s MP3 store last year.
