PRS for Music has published a report claiming that UK music industry revenues were up 4.7% in 2008 to £3.6 billion, with 75% of the industry value coming from combined business-to-consumer revenues from live and recorded music, and 25% coming from other B2B streams including collective and direct licensing, advertising and sponsorship.
