A Californian man is suing Apple – amongst other targets – for aiding and abetting a Mafia plot to kill him for refusing to work for them as a model. Really. It’s a long and tortuous tale that involves nobody listening to the poor man’s protests, and includes the allegation that Apple sold him iPods that were already bugged for the mafiosi to listen in on him, and also pre-programmed to “generate death threats” when he listened to them.
