
We wrote about EMI’s digital campaign for the 40th anniversary of David Bowie’s Space Oddity earlier this month, but it’s now gone live. Fans can buy an iPhone app developed by iKlax which lets them remix the song by tweaking the volume of eight different stems of the song, from vocals and guitar through to mellotron. Meanwhile, the stems are being sold on iTunes with a celebratory digital EP, allowing people to mess about with them in desktop music applications too.
