Venture capital investment activity rose 15% in the second quarter 2009 to $3.7 billion, up from $3.2 billion the previous quarter, according to a new report. Based on year-to-date figures, the groups predicted in their MoneyTree Report that final 2009 figures most likely will mirror levels seen in 1996 and 1997.
