US mobile operator Verizon Wireless has announced its long-rumoured mobile applications store, called V CAST Apps. As part of it, Verizon is promising to give app developers a 70% revenue share. Meanwhile, the operator has signed a deal with Research In Motion to launch a version of its own BlackBerry App World store for BlackBerries sold through Verizon.
