In an effort to help iPhone owners find apps they’re interested in on the 65,000-strong App Store, Apple has told developers they need to start including a list of keywords when they submit an application to the store. It’s not a new idea – keywords are important for everything from YouTube video uploads to blog posts. But it’s the first sign of Apple tackling criticism that the App Store needs to improve its discovery process.
