WaTunes, a social media service that lets artists and record labels distribute their music for free on iTunes and other digital retailers has partnered with Amazon.com to offer physical CD distribution on-demand. The agreement will see WaTunes VIP customers gain free access to the Amazon On-Demand and Amazon MP3 store, while customers of WaTunes’ free service can pay a service fee of $10 per album to make their music available on CD through Amazon.
